Prayer is our belief that God in heaven hears us when we speak to Him. Prayers can be request or praises to our Holy Father in heaven. God will answer your prayers if your prayers are in line with His holy will! God will provide you answers to your prayers through situations, other people and sometimes directly. You have to be willing to wait and be receptive to God’s answer to your prayers.

Jesus stated we should pray like this:

Matthew 6:9-13

9. Pray like this: 

 Our Father in heaven,
may your name be kept holy.

 

10. May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.

 

11. Give us today the food we need,

 

12. and forgive us our sins,

as we have forgiven those who sin against us.

 

13. And don’t let us yield to temptation,

but rescue us from the evil one.

For yours are the kingdom, and the power

and the glory, forever.
